March 2019 Meeting

Hi Capital Area Progressive Democrats,

For our meeting on Tuesday, we are going to have a 2020 Primary Preview with the one, the only, the invisible, David Butts. And in case you think it’s too early to discuss the Primary, remember that we are now officially one year out, so if you haven’t decided who you’re voting for in every single District Court, then you are far behind the curve.

Our meeting will be held this Tuesday, March 5th, at 5:30 p.m., at the AFL-CIO. Come ready to hear about, well, the way David Butts sees things.

Democratically yours,

André Treiber, Communications and PR Chair

Happy New Year CAPD members!

Please join us for our first membership meeting of the year on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 5:30pm. We will meet at the AFL-CIO building located at 1106 Lavaca Street.

Special Message
January was the worst month in the history of our club; we’re all grieving and in shock. There aren’t words to express the depth of pain in losing Eva. And none of us can fathom Ken’s pain and emotional hurt. Collectively our hearts ache.

At our Tuesday meeting we will discuss how CAPD will honor and recognize Eva Gonzales and how we will support Ken Craig in his time of great need.

Meeting Program
We will be joined by a representative from the Beto O’Rourke for U.S. Senate Campaign to update us on how the campaign is going and what we can do to help Beto defeat Ted Cruz. There will also be Beto merchandise available for a small donation.

CAPD Business
We will be discussing our campaign plan to support our CAPD endorsed 2018 Democratic Primary candidates.

Check us out on Facebook and on our website! We also welcome any Democratic candidates for political office to attend our monthly meetings.
